Meet Your Wax Specialist Hey Queen! I’m Shaneil Monique, a Charleston-born and raised Geechee girl, licensed esthetician, and the woman behind Naturally Empressed Wax Studio. My love for skincare comes from a personal place. Growing up with eczema and dry skin, I learned early on how much the condition of our skin can affect our confidence. Along the way, I also found myself falling in love with beauty, starting with something as simple as doing my own brows. What was once a little personal ritual eventually sparked my interest in becoming an esthetician. In 2022, I was introduced to the world of waxing, and that’s where things really started coming together for me. I realized waxing was about so much more than removing unwanted hair. It was an opportunity to help women feel comfortable in their skin, build confidence, and understand how to care for themselves beyond their appointments. That’s the heart behind Naturally Empressed. Today, I specialize in comfort-focused waxing and intimate skin care, with a special interest in sensitive skin, ingrown hairs, and hyperpigmentation. Whether it’s your very first Brazilian or you’re a seasoned waxer, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and simply being yourself. And one thing about me, I’m going to educate you! I believe great results don’t stop when you leave my studio. Understanding your skin, building a consistent routine, and knowing what works for you are all part of the experience. At Naturally Empressed, you’re never just another appointment on my schedule. Cancellation Policy
Royal Policies
Naturally Empressed Wax Studio
Deposits & Booking
A non-refundable deposit is required for all first-time clients and online bookings. Deposits are applied toward your service total. Returning Empresses who rebook in-suite are exempt from deposits.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a 50% fee of the scheduled service total, including any deposit already paid.
Late Arrivals
A 10-minute grace period is allowed. Please communicate any delays before your scheduled appointment. Arrivals beyond the grace period may result in cancellation of your appointment.
No-Call / No-Shows
Missed appointments, including forgotten appointments or failure to arrive within the grace period, are subject to a 100% service fee. Any deposit collected will count toward this fee.
Outstanding Balances
All outstanding cancellation and no-show fees must be paid before booking another appointment. Repeated violations may result in permanent booking restrictions.
Guests & Children
To maintain a safe, private, and comfortable environment, additional guests and children are not permitted.
